Good Earth Cabins Policies
You must be at least 21 to reserve a cabin. Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
· Full payment is required at time of reservation.
· 12.75% tax will be added to rates. We have both 6% lodging tax and 6.75% sales tax.
· We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover
If you make a reservation request on line, your credit card will be charged.
·
Weekend stays require both Friday and Saturday nights. If you choose a Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday stay both nights will be charged at the weekend rate.
·
Holiday reservations are charged at the regular weekend rate.

A two night minimum is required at any 3 bedroom cabin.

A three night minimum is required for the following Holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
All 3 nights are charged at the weekend rate.
Cancellations and changes
· More than 14 days before arrival : Refund less $30 processing fee.
· Less than 15 days but more than 3 days before arrival: 50% refund.
· 72 hours or less before arrival: No refund.
· There is no refund for early departure.
· No refund for inclement weather.
There is a $30 fee for refunds due to a change in the number of guests.
Check In and Check Out
· You may arrive at your cabin any time after 4:00pm. You will be provided with key access information and specific directions to your cabin. If you do not recieve direction at least 3 days prior to arrival it is your responsibility to notify our office. It is the guests' responsibility to forward directions to everyone in your party.
· Check Out is 11:00am. Please Wash the dishes and place trash in the correct receptacles. Please secure the cabin and return the key to the lock box before departure. Extra keys may be placed on the kitchen table.
Occupancy and Housekeeping
· Occupancy is limited to the maximum number of guests accommodated by each cabin and the number of guests included in your reservation.You will be charged for addtional guests and may be asked to leave without refund if the number exceeds the occupancy of the cabin. We do not allow unpaid guests.
· Pets are allowed only at cabins specified as PET FRIENDLY. Pets must be approved by our office before arrival. Pet fee is $30 per visit for 1 pet, $50 for 2 pets, and $75 for 3 pets. Please pick up pet waste from the yards. There will be a $300 charge plus damages if pets are brought into non-pet friendly cabins.
Horses must be Pre approved by our office. Guest MUST sign a waiver/release. Fee is $25 per horse and includes stall. Guests must remove all waste from stalls before departure. Charge for uncleaned stall is $300.
ATVs are welcome at
Baker's Acres ONLY. Guests must sign waiver/release and agree to stay on the trails.
· Smoking is not allowed inside the cabins. You are welcome to smoke outside. Ashtrays or ash buckets are provided. There is a $500 charge plus damages for smoking in the buildings.
· We treat our cabins for pests but remember the cabins are in the woods and you may encounter insects, spiders, mice or other woodland creatures. There are no refunds due to these encounters.
Amenities
· We provide linens, towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll paper towels, trash bags, and dish washing detergent.
· Please notify our office of any damages, shortages, or housekeeping issues upon arrival
· On rare occasions appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc. can malfunction. Good Earth Cabins cannot make refunds due to inconveniences but we will do our best to service these amenities as soon as possible.
· In the event of a loss outside of our control such as time without electricity, water, satellite TV, etc. Good Earth Cabins cannot make any refunds. However, we will respond as soon as possible to restore these amenities.
· We will do our very best to have your cabin ready for you by 4:00pm. Due to cleaning and servicing, your hot tub may not be at full temperature when you arrive and may need several hours to heat.
· We will respond as soon as possible to clear snow and ice from driveways on the day of your arrival. However, four- wheel- drive is recommended in Winter.
· We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities and property restrictions. Ponds are for catch and release fishing. Pond at Margaritaville and Tumbleweed and Starlight, is swim at your own risk. Swimming and ice skating is prohibited at all other ponds.
Please follow hot tub rules/guidelines. DO NOT stand on, sit on, or place any items on the hot tub cover. Covers are inspected after each guests rental. Replacement cost for damaged cover is $400
No refunds will be made if you are asked to vacate the premises due to disruptive conduct or failure to follow our guest policies.
Guests agree to hold Good Earth cabins harmless for any personal injury, loss, or damage to guests’ personal property during the guests stay.
Policies and rates are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning required after your stay. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation. The owners and management of Good Earth Cabins assume no responsibility for damages or loss of items belonging to our guests.
